Graham Potter and Eddie Howe are among a long list of managers who have been denied interviews by the FA over the England job.

On Wednesday, FA chief executive Mark Bullingham and technical director John McDermott interviewed around 10 coaches, including some English candidates, before appointing Thomas Tuchel.

However, it is understood that at least seven high-profile English coaches were not interviewed by the FA.

On Friday, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti denied that he had been approach to take on the role.

According to reliable sources, Potter has not been interview about the role.

Sean Dyche, Frank Lampard, Gary O’Neill, Steve Cooper and Russell Martin were among the English coaches not interview.
