Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has admitted there is no immediate need to sign new players in the January transfer window despite links he is set to bring in Manchester United players. The
48-year-old started his new job with a fine performance, beating West Ham United 3-1. However, there has been talk of a January transfer window in which Ruud will sign United
youngster Toby Collyer on loan, among others.
However, Ruud insists there is no rush to sign new players and that he will let his current squad prove themselves first before considering future additions.
If City don’t bring any players in next month, there will still be fresh faces at the club, with new coaches expected. Van Nistelrooy was joined by his assistant Jelle ten Rouwelaar in the dugout on Tuesday and a couple more coaches are expected to join the ranks soon, with Ben Dawson, สมัคร ufabet Andrew Hughes and Danny Alcock sticking around.
Van Nistelrooy added: “I’m open to working with people here, which we have done, and which is going really well. There’s a possibility to take some of my own people that I can work with.
“We spoke about that in London before I signed. And We spoke about that in the winter window and in the summer. “We spoke about
not rushing anything. The squad will now have a chance to prove themselves this month. There will be time after that to assess it after I see the players with my own eyes.” Asked
about concerns about the club’s financial situation, Ruud insisted that he has a budget to spend on players in the coming transfer window.
